“Follow the child”, what does that mean? There are many misconceptions about Montessori education. “It is super loose and the kids get to do whatever they want”... “It's too regimented and the kids are dogged by structure!” Which is it? The only way to truly learn is to find out for yourself.

Some of the topics discussed were the SWMA Yard Sale fundraiser April 25, 2009; positive discipline; mosquito control; 6th Annual Torre Rosa* - a casual party at the school on May, 2009; Pizza By The Sea fundraiser; Child health care and classroom cleanliness.
